The night upon the Moscow sidewalk...

Антонио Капучини
The night upon  the Moscow sidewalk
I wonder with no certain aim
My mind is filled with undecided
My heart is running like a train

It comes as lightning with no thunder
I must be man of rare breed
To love the heels I’m under
And never trying to get rid

My heart is plane, where You are hostess
The dancer for Your crazy tune
My love is fuel to be exhausted
Along this hopeless road to You

Should I be cool? Should I be bolder?
How should I ever pave the path?
Too many men behind Your shoulder
But “many” – does it mean “enough”?

Just one more step and this is over
Say: now or never, be or not?
I’m standing on the edge of Nowhere
I need Your sign to leave the spot!
