Song of Despair

Celena Costello
I have those thoughts inside my head
Of something strong that should be dead,
I have no rights and no demands,
No hope, no future and no plans,
And all day long I'm at the street,
My skin is burnt by summer heat,
And all day long I know, I know
That you are here, can't hear me though,
I try to stand and then I run,
Not named, not helped by anyone.
I'm hated, lonely and exiled,
It's been a long time since I smiled,
And it has been so many days
Since I saw moon or morning rays,
I long to hear a human voice
But I already made my choice
And I will not return again
While stupid feelings still remain.
My story is no mystery,
I crawl and drown in misery,
I'll never change my point of view -
The one who ruined my life was you!
The rain falls down like silver glass,
I know this madness cannot pass
So in my cold and lonely bed
I lie untouched and almost dead.
