Just another day

Romualdas Arm
What will happen today, do you ask yourself?
It's just a usual day
You wake up and come to work
By the old and well known way.

The steps are silent in autumn's dirt
The water falls from the sky
The man knows well where he goes and for what
I see it was you and not I

The lights in the street and the cities noise
I am now coming to take a bus
Do you know this human? You know, of course..
This story is about us

He'll stay on the seat and wait until
The box on wheels reaches the place
Where he must be to accept his ill
Like the rest of the human race

The greetings with colleagues or just with friends
By the stairs or some other way
He is coming to the site until workday ends
On duty he will have to stay

Some like it, some do not-so life is made
We do things we have to do
From some, time runs, for another it waits
For at last..it is just coming through

The dinner break and back again
Where society told us to be
To earn or learn or profit gain
All do it and you and me

The end at last, the same way again
At home or somewhere to come
If I could of course and there is no rain
Then doing another some

Midnight comes back and you fall into bed
Life stopped, only dreams inside
Another morning you will soon meet
By the circle life will take flight
