Sweet Sister

Sweet sister, sweet sister,
Sweet little sister, my sweet little sister,
Sleep, sleep, sleep, sleep,
Close your eyes and sleep, sleep...
My sweet little sister, close your eyes...
I'm gonna sing your a lullaby,
So close your sweet blue eyes and listen:

Once there were two children: sister and brother
Living on the street and looking after each other.
For there parents, well, they were dead long ago.
And poor kids, they even did‘t know,
If they ever have had some.

They earned a bit by begging, dancing and singing.
They’ve seen a lot of blood shedding and pieces of blowing heads spilling.
But they kept their mouths shut, just like two mice watching a cat...
Poor little kids.
And while the nights of horror were terrorizing the town,
Both the children used to sleep lying embraced on the ground
Inside their dark and clammy underground hole.
And God himself was looking at them from the dirty walls.
A rusty scythe was mowing within eyes.
One bitter tear down his cheek was red...

Sweet sister, sweet sister,
Sweet little sister, my sweet little sister,
Sleep, sleep, sleep, sleep,
Close your eyes and sleep, sleep...
My sweet little sister, close your eyes...
It's gonna go on this lullaby,
So close your sweet blue eyes and listen:

One sunny day the boy was glad.
It was the spring driving him mad.
He picked some flowers in a garden for his sister,
But couldn’t find her ‘till the stars showed their first star...

Well, she was naked lying there, with quite wide opened mouth and eyes.
Was lying in her own blood and cloths torn down. She felt as ice.
And as she realized she’s dead, she asked her brother for revenge.
He closed her eyes and digged a grave and hid her. Then he was a-strange...

He sweared to be a devil‘s slave, and went away then damning god.
The little boy became a hound picking up trails on the road.
That man whom he had found soon, looked at this kid and he recalled:
It`s been himself a long time ago as the hate conquered his own soul.

Sweet sister, sweet sister,
Sweet little sister, my sweet little sister,
Sleep, sleep, sleep, sleep,
Close your eyes and sleep, sleep...
My sweet little sister, close your eyes...
This is the end of the lullaby,
So close your sweet blue eyes and sleep...
