Victoria Regia

Àäåëà Âàñèëîé
What is the superb name
For a rare flower,
That do not amass sweet honey dew
For the laborious bees,
But allure the disgusting fly’s
With her miasma of putrid meat.
When it’s bloom,
That rare flower,
Some miles around it
The people close their noses
Their are game back out to breathe.
What good chance, it’s seldom bloom…
What good chance, that not bloom in garden!
While its regal name suggest to us,
That it’s really special,
But not between the Queens,
Since it’s so… decidedly fetid!
