Who knows it – how, when and where
By whom was drawn that Big Black Square?
What is on it? What does it mean?
And may on it be something seen?
It’s phylosophic, very main!
Tremaindous sens can there remain!
It’s very colour is very deep,
It is like night when we must sleep!
But who knows reason, who knows truth?
Who can explain it for the youth?
It was forgotten far ago,
It went away as ancient snow!
The only man who knew the trooth,
Malewich was – when we were youth!
When he was drawing – it was lack
Of different colours – only black!
He couldn’t finish the portrait –
He stopped the work, and he regret!
He draw in black, he didn’t refuse,
But for result – he was confused!
It was tremaindous – Big Black Square;
It’s not still known how and where,
That it was drawn in only black
Because of other colours lack!
Can You say me – where
Is that Big Black Square?
And where can I read
How the Big Black Square appeared?
And isn’t it really known
That Big Black Square is alone?
Can’t it be that somewhere in the world
The Big Black Square is the second or the third?
Where is that Black and faimous Square?
Where is it now? Who knows it – where?
