…and you embrace freedom in the form of self
For the two of you, freedom wasn’t sufficient, or,
It shared itself not, with your faithed half.
Causing the loved one to linger in query constant,
Wondering from ‘what’s next’ to ‘when it is all to end’…

…and the end came via voices calm and sorrows repressed,
For the wrangled hearts grew abate in bond and merit.
For V & S served their terms. High courts of love,
Judges impartial, life-long sentences… in sickness and health,
…obsolete - when the libertas comes, whole and virgin, ending the end.
