If you can have a little sight
On what can happen in the night
Your mind will burst in ‘ crazy spark,
You’ll see that Heaven light is dark.
If you can sound of horror hear
That passes through your tender ear,
Your blood will freeze, and that will mark
How Heaven sounds could be dark.
It will be better – be the blind
To save your poor wretched mind
And have no ears not to suck
That all in Heavens is still dark.
