Тикая прочь, секунды день скучный слагают,
Ты продолжаешь бесцельно часы расточать.
Прыгая лишь на кусочке земли в городишке,
Ждёшь ты кого-то, кто б мог тебе путь указать.
И устав от солнцепёка, в дом идёшь на дождь смотреть,
Молод ты и жизнь длинна, чтоб об убитом дне жалеть.
Однажды ты поймёшь, что десять лет уж не вернёшь,
Не сказал никто, где встать - ты прозевал свой старт.
И ты станешь бежать, чтобы солнце догнать, но садится
И встанет опять наутро оно за спиной.
То же оно, на орбите одной, но ты старше,
Душит одышка, ещё на день ближе покой.
Каждый год ещё короче, поздно, поджимает срок,
Планы в никуда ведут, и полстраницы нервных строк.
Тихое отчаянье - английский способ выживать,
Время вышло, песня спета,
Думал - мне есть, что сказать.
