When I played in the yard in my childhood

Елизавета Судьина
When I played in the yard in my childhood –
I saw clouds of light coming near.
Every stone and tree at me smiling,
No coldness or enemy’s fear.

After that I found so much attachment
To what they told forever could be.
Nothing crushing my world, when they touched me –
So free was my will.

It asked no dangerous questions
Never fighting or coming against.
It knew harmony, and rejection
My soul never took for offence.
