Snowflakes are falling, whirling,
Scintillating in light from lanterns
While memory concerning
To country of larch returns.

Snowdrifts and wild forest,
Wolfs howl in night,
Small cities new and modest,
Roads and power lines upright.

I remember warm calm evening
When I was skating in street
Snowflakes like stars twinkling
Were landing near my feet.

There is no this street from memory,
People moved to other place,
But continuing old nice story
Snowflakes show their grace.

(Kind memory of mother, who always told her disease is not due to the Nuclear Explosion)
