It’s very difficult to find
A black kitten in the darkest night;
Why do we search for the “wildest cat”,
If never feel with them too glad?..
They are like circles in the sand,
They’ve never had some source or end,
‘Cause their “round” pretty minds
Are slaves of money… is it nice?
I like such “kitties” not so much,
Don’t wanna kiss, caress, or touch,
I don’t like pretty “hens” as well,
Although they’re kind, with kitchen smell…
How many “frogs” and naive “sheep”
Could make us young, with mighty grip;
We must remember, by the way,
That their “skins” are green or grey!..
What could I say about “bats”?–
They hold below silly heads!
And what about silent “mice”?–
Alas, too low their price!..
Of course, not bad to comprehend
In love a “lap dog”, good, faithful friend;
“Dog”’s very loyal, peaceful, “tame”,
And very proud of a man’s fame!..
I love bright “squirrels”, they are smooth,
Though don’t put fingers in her tooth;
A good wise “squirrel” lets you know
That you’re an “eagle”, another’s “crow”!
Smart women shouldn’t take offence,
There’s nothing sneering in this verse!–
I only tried a little bit
To talk with smile about it!
