I m not a hero

Томас Макарскас
Now take a glass of wine,
You’ve never heard story like mine.
I came from the mount of Athos,
I think you didn’t know it before.
Once I escaped from amazons,
They were not so pretty and tender.
Labyrinth was easy to crack it,
As I had Ariadne’s thread in my pocket.

But I'm not a hero,
I'm just an ordinary one,
I have a hair on my head,
I have two arms and two legs of my own.

Yes, I was in Tartar with Orpheus
To see how it was doing for Cerberus,
And I defeated mighty Hercules,
He’s suitable just for movies.
I had a talk with Athena so divine,
We took a ride on Trojan horse at night.
Then I was dancing with nymphs
Zeus was so strangely looking at this.

But I'm not a hero,
I'm just an ordinary one,
I have a hair on my head,
I have two arms and two legs of my own.

While we were flying with Daedalus and Icarus
We saw the fighting of Phoenix and Pegasus.
Then I traveled by ship of Ulysses,
I still remember Sirens’ kisses.
Recently I stay on isle of Atlantis
To live with beautiful people like these.
But I don’t care of your thoughts,
I’m not a hero, believe me or not!
