Слоги шуршания сфер,
Бог скорчил гримасу, лист в печи
И колени мужчины и женщины расплавились, они рухнули
С оплавленными шейными мышцами, стукнулись лбами о землю
Брызнули слёзы
Они шептали "Твоя воля – наш мир".
А Ворон всё смотрел.
Затем сделал пару шагов вперёд,
Схватил создание за обвисший затылок,
Вышиб из него мозги – и съел.

God's grimace writhed, a leaf in the furnace
And man's and woman's knees melted, they collapsed
Their neck-muscles melted, their brows bumped the ground

They whispered 'Your will is our peace.'
But Crow only peered.
