С НЕБЕС ОН ЯВИЛСЯ
С небес он явился на корабле,
Был труден и долог его путь к Земле.
Над бедной деревней завис космолет
И как звезда свет лил на нее.
Пришелец спустился и в ясли вошел,
Там юную деву с младенцем нашел.
Вокруг все тонуло в слепящих лучах.
Мать сына к груди прижала, и страх в глазах.
Сказал незнакомец, "Не бойся меня.
С далекой планеты сюда прибыл я,
Чтоб человечеству весть передать."
И в воздухе мелодия вдруг разлилась,
Звучало:
"Благость и мир людям всем,
И детям любовь."
Сладко звенела мелодия та,
И многих вокруг пробудила от сна.
И странников неких к яслям привела;
Им свет корабля в темноте путь указал.
И в час, когда тронула небо заря,
Пришелец сказал, " Улетать должен я.
Но знайте, две тысячи лет пролетят -
И зазвучит мелодия опять.
Раздастся...
И зазвучит мелодия опять.
Раздастся:
"Благость и мир людям всем,
И детям любовь."
Весь мир ждет, ждет, чтоб услышать мелодию снова,
Тысячи стоят на краю мира.
А звезда улетает, и время почти пришло
И зазвучит мелодия опять...
A spaceman came travelling on his ship from afar,
'Twas light years of time since his mission did start,
And over a village he halted his craft,

He followed a light and came down to a shed,
