Blind

                who is now 88 years old.


She was an 11-years-old happy  girl,
   when the colored world came to an end...
Being innocent, cheerful and gorgeous,
   she became completely blind from being ill.

She always remember her village-
   her native country, Lithuania, in Europe,
Was the last time she saw her parents,
   family, friends,sun,,trees and grassland.

Strong, brave, optimistic and religious,
   she lives her life privately in prayers;
Accepts her destiny with meekness,
   God's love, care, and patience.
