Today it isn't half as cold
As it should be, and yet
The same amount of presents sold,
and letters have been sent.
This coming year is brand new,
but keep in mind the fact
that brand new days are not as few
and long, so go and act!
Chin-chin, my friends! A wish we'll make,
though the old year was fine,
Let's hope the coming year will take
us all to cloud nine.
