Умом Россию не понять,
By mind is Russia to not catch,
Аршином общим не измерить:
By common measure’s to not try on:
У ней особенная стать –
That has a very special stage -
В Россию можно только верить.
In Russia’s possible to trust gone.

Когда пробьет последний час природы,
When a last blink of world will really in set,
Состав частей разрушится земных:
The parts of earth will be destroyed and then
Все зримое опять покроют воды,
All things by waters will again be merged,
И божий лик изобразится в них.
And face of God will stand in fine in them.
