Will it snow?

Алина Кан
How do you always know it,
My perspicacious friend?
Two more lines:
Will it snow and
Will you be there ‘till the end?
How do you always know when
Heart is embraced in pain,
And fear through dreams in the morning
Creeps in my mind again?
As powerless as muffled groan, I’m here
Inside my own world.
Oh friend,
It might be severe:
Remembering what I forgot.
And yet, do I question this pattern,
I wonder, what language to use
To talk to my soul.
I’m abandoned
To sadness and my lonely truth.

You told me some time ago
Dreaming
That you would like to escape,
And now I do too,
In all meanings,
Dissolving my silhouette.
But how can I ever stop praising
Your keen,
Astounding mind;
And in the most accurate phrasing
I’d fail describing your heart.

And, little by little, like a child
Making their first steps,
I surely will make you smile
And stay in the snow ‘till the end.
