So long ago, G-d spoke to our forefathers.
He would appear before them in disguise.
The people listened, and they saw those wonders,
That G-d was doing right before their eyes.
Sometimes they murmured or would even doubt,
But they would never speak against the G-d.
And when He spoke, the silence was throughout,
For His words were inscribed on every heart.
Now time has passed, and science made it clear,
That doors are opened to the Universe.
But it's a shame, that now we fail to hear
The words of G-d, who made all things on Earth.
G-d speaks to us today, just as before,
Sometimes he's in the whisper of the wind
Or in the gale's very laud roar
Or in the eyes of the mendicant in need.
Yes, G-d still speaks, but often we don't notice,
We're focused more on money and our wealth.
We listen to some gossip or some noise,
But can't hear the loud Church's bells.
G-d gives His grace to us from high above
He's looking for some open hearts of ours
And He will fill them with an abandoned love,
So we can live with kindness and prayers.
