Salty and Shallow

Days come and go,
And after
I close last chapter
And put this book on the shelf,
Maybe you'll see me crying
Cause sun is shining
Into my dark soul through lens
Of most incredible spring
We've ever seen,
Of disquieting dreams.
But you're leaving tomorrow,
And we can't even breath,
And we kiss,
And beneath
Our lips
I feel tears
Which are salty and shallow.

We crossed the lawn and forest
Being as quiet as hobbits.
Leaves whispered us the words we can't spell.
Birds' waterfalls in distance
Run for us at the instance
Of Rivendell hipsters and elves.
Such a beautiful day.
Your blue silk dress
Matches eyes and the skies,
But you are leaving tomorrow.
And we can't even breath,
And we kiss,
And beneath
Our lips
I feel tears
Which are salty and shallow.
