Ballad Of The Sea Sisters

Àíàñòàñèÿ Ìàòÿø
I’m standing by the sea,
Taking a deep breath.
To its calling I
Can’t stay deaf.

‘Come, dear, come’,
Someone’s calling me.
‘Come, darling, some,
Please, swim with me’

I’m coming  closer,
Feel salty air.
Now I see a mermaid
With long red hair.

Her eyes are like diamonds,
Her skin is white.
I feel the connection
Which I can’t deny.

She’s telling me
‘Oh, I missed you so much!
My human sister,
You’ve grown so high!

I know, you can it.
Come, swim with me.
You were born in water,
You’re just like me’

I come into water,
I believe.
We dive into waves
And disappear.

Suddenly I wake up
With tears on my cheeks.
I’ve never seen
Such amazing things.

My heart is pounding,
My body is trembling.
I come to the wardrobe
And start dressing.

I run out of the house
And come to the sea.
I feel its breath,
It’s calling me

My heart keeps pounding,
I’m not alone anymore.
I can’t help trembling,
I’m waiting for her…
