In the hands of God

Альбина Кумирова
Who needs my cry but God alone?
He holds my life in His hands.
He knows it all - my every moan,
my every thought, he understands.

He sees beyond my every dream,
and every silent call, He hears.
Who but my Master can redeem
my life - a handful bunch of years?

The years spent on empty chase
for worldly goals and desires…
My Lord alone can erase
misfortunes that the world supplies.

My every plan, He sees it through,
in every failure He’s consoling,
and He alone can renew
my mind with His Spirit Holy.

What peace to know: God is there!
His presence I have strongly felt
in all my troubles and despair, -
He always with mercy dealt.

He waited patiently for me
to be repentant and contrite,
that I would go on my knees,
accepting: God alone is right.

Though fashioned by His high design,
I’m clay in the Creator’s hands.
Would I object the will divine,
His wisdom, Providence and plans?

Would I protest, would I reject Him,
when I am tested with regrets?
But in my pain He’s perfecting
my soul, - He paid for my debts.

For even death has no power,
before the cross, to which I cling.
God is my refuge and my tower,
and in His safety I sing.

Forgetting all my plights and sorrows,
I seek eternal Truth and Light.
When righteousness from Christ is borrowed,
one’s justified in God’s sight.

I am forgiven and accepted.
Oh, let His Spirit guide and lead!
To be by God Himself selected,
what more can one desire or need?

Его нельзя назвать переводом, так как оно сильно довольно отличается, но прослеживается общая смысловая нить.

Inspirational verse:
"He saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life."
Titus 3:5-7
