Though the forces of darkness surround,
making all things obscure,
nevertheless, I can stand my ground,
rooted in Christ, secure.
Greater is Jesus, my Lord, in me,
than he, who is in the world,
Jesus, who set me from Satan free
by His blood and His Word.
He gave the sword of the Spirit and
now I'm not alone,
and for the Kingdom of God to expand
I fight without a groan.
