столь давнем, ионы назад
увидел он старт
и над деревушкой сдержал свой корабль,
он следовал светом, как будто звезда,
и прибыл в то место, где Мать и Дитя.
как ангел страшащий сияющий лик
«Не бойтесь!» - сказал он, когда здесь возник, -
-Я прибыл из дали и дальним путём,
чтоб только свидетельствовать вам о Нём… --
-- и музыки вдруг океан разлился
Ла! ла-ла-ла! ла-ла-ла! ла-ла-ла!
- Мир для людей в доброй воле!
и для Младенца Любови!
прекрасная Музыка всё сотрясла
и многие в тот час проснулись от сна,
по свету далёкой и близкой Звезды
дорогу идущие эту нашли.
и перед рассветом
в бледнеющем небе
пришедший сказал: «Улетать мне сейчас,
но снова, мелькнёт как две тысячи лет,
услышите Музыку эту в ответ
на тот же Ребёнка глас...»

весь мир в ожиданьи, здесь тысячи ждут
