Breaking all notions, codes of thought,
into the history, Jesus, You brought
love and compassion beyond human dreams,
which from the throne of grace streams.
Breaking all lies of those who rule,
devious hypocrites, greedy and cruel
You taught us mercy to each other,
being obedient to the Father.
Thousands fed, so many healed,
God in Your miracles was revealed:
a mighty power over all
and care for every soul.
You demonstrated to us all this,
so we'd know God’s love and bliss,
and on the cross for us You bled,
for everyone Your blood was shed.
The temple’s curtain was ripped apart,
giving to people a new start,
welcoming everyone to come in,
who would repent of their sin.
And with salvation You assure
all, who admit to be wretched and poor.
Giving us riches of Your grace,
You promise us a Heaven’s place.
Filling our souls with gratitude,
changing our inner attitude,
Conquering darkness, hell and death,
You give a fragrance of Your breath.
