Eyes of Aman

"Listen now eldar, - the minstrel said, -
I'll tell you a story you have never read.
Once was a time, we lived on our land
Lighted by Trees, and it seemed all in hand. (x2)

Melkor the black had murdered our king.
Spider had impaled the Trees with her sting.
Stealing our Gems was vala's desire
Filling our souls with a requital fire.

And we sailed from the Harbour,
Being all doomed by Namo.

We challenged the Gods and never gave in.
The flame never dies when you just have to win.
Brothers are gone. Our House tumbled down.
I am the exile losing this round.

When you sail from that Harbour
You're the last light of Aman.

Last of the Gems is burning my hand.
My boots are all salted and covered with sand.
Into the water! Shiny farewell.
Loss or relief? I'll never can tell. (x2)

My soul is now tired. I stray by the sea
But visions of Aman linger to me.
So carry the Past in the rooms of your heart
And you'll never be empty of those you have part.

And you'll sail form the Harbour
Your last eyes of Aman."
