We trust in the Creator of the world,
The universe, the earth, the sun, the heavens.
Almighty Father made the realm unfold,
He worked six days and rested on the seventh.
In God the Son we trust, who dwells on high,
The image of His Father God incarnate.
Who spoke into being earth and sky
And who is crowned with the golden crown.
Lord Christ was born from God and from a maid,
Embodied deity who dwelled with men.
And by His sacrifice the way He paved,
His cross achieved a victory – amen.
Before the crowd Pilate washed his hands,
Fulfilling thus the prophecies of old:
For sins of people Jesus was condemned,
Then buried in a cavern dark and cold.
The third day came; the clouds in the east
Were lit up by the shimmer of God’s splendor.
From His cold grave Lord Jesus was released,
And death and hell were silenced in surrender.
Ascending to the heavens, Jesus sits
Next to the Father God’s eternal throne,
He answers prayers and He never quits
His work in hearts and souls of His own.
Christ Jesus will return to judge the men,
The living and the dead by faith and deeds.
He’ll gather all the saints and born-again,
And in His Kingdom we shall have no needs.
In God the Holy Spirit we believe,
Who gives support and comfort to His sons.
Peace, confidence, and hope we receive -
Let’s give Him praise and honor, everyone.
We trust the Church, His chosen salt and light,
The dearly beloved of the Lamb.
His people grow in wisdom, strength and might,
A golden city He will build for them.
We trust that water baptism makes us clean,
In it we pledge to serve and follow God.
The baptism by the Spirit, though unseen,
Gives wisdom to distinguish truth from fraud.
We trust that Jesus Christ shall come again,
And all the faithful ones will rise in Him.
Then in the Holy City He will reign,
As saints and angels sing Him joyful hymns.
Each man will bow his knees before the King,
And give Him glory, honor, and all praise.
Throughout the universe sunshine and spring
Will come and last forever and always.
