How I Spent Labor Day

This day was wonderful.
Early in the morning, at 7 o'clock, there was still no hot sun.
And my daughter and I took a walk in our Makiki neighborhood, the air was fresh.
After a light breakfast, we began to prepare to welcome our dear guest.
This is my daughter's friend, professor of French language and literature, Marie-Jose.
She is now retired.
She drives a car very well.
At 11 o'clock in the afternoon, we saw from the balcony of the 33rd floor, how her white car drove into our yard.
On Sunday, my daughter cooked a lot of delicious food: Olivier salad, Russian pies with fish and cabbage, fruit, black tea, chocolate, yogurt.
Marie-Jose gave us beautiful flowers.
We told each other a lot about our lives. We laughed a lot.
Marie-Jose was in Japan with her two daughters and grandchildren during the summer.
She really liked the country and the people.
They are very tolerant.
Anastasia and I were in Armenia in the summer, in Yerevan.
We went to Lake Sevan with wonderful fresh water.
We ate delicious Whitefish and Trout at a local restaurant.
Marie-Jose really enjoyed visiting us.
During the day we rested, I slept a little.
In the evening we went to our swimming pool and swam in it.
This is what our holiday was like.
