The devil’s schemes are too well-known:
to lie, to kill, and to destroy.
He want to occupy God’s throne,
by using skillfully decoy.
The media with lies showers,
employing fear as a tool.
Not flesh and blood, but evil powers,
who use authorities and rule.
When rich and powerful are merciless,
agendas pushing inhumane,
I'm trying to expose in earnestness
satanic strategies insane.
With dark and evil spirits rising,
the Lord prepared us to fight,
to be alert, awake, advising
the sword of God to be held tight.
The Word of God is sharp and sound,
with which all dangers can be faced.
By being firm, I stand my ground,
the belt of truth around my waist.
Breastplate of righteousness in place
- not mine, but what God imputes:
because of blood of Christ, His grace
a sinless nature attributes.
No longer under God’s damnation,
among all them, whom God rejects,
because the helmet of salvation
from any criticism protects.
The Armour of the Lord makes steady,
when I am by the Spirit led.
My feet are for the action ready
the gospel, Word of God, to spread.
I’m following the road narrow,
which leads me to the safe place.
My faith shields from any arrow
that demons throw at my face.
The madness of this world is spiraling,
but, not afraid to be odd,
not of this world, I am aspiring
to be obedient to God.

The Armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18)
10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
