Ты пробудись к великим общества деяньям,
Сокото, полный сил природных и людских!
Твои щедроты строить нам тебя помогут,
Как общество, где ценится мораль,
Пришедшая от предков к нам с Исламом.
Пусть вера нас ведёт и направляет,
Как ревностных наследников Османа дан Фодио,
Носителей Ислама в Западном Судане,
Крепить мораль, хозяйство, просвещенье.
Народ сокото ценит здравый смысл,
И наша ценность - выдержанный нрав в культуре.
Мы ценим мир, нам благочестие по нраву,
Империи Ислама путь до наших дней.
Здоровье, средства наши - для народа мощи.
Споём, о люди, песню солидарности,
Мольбу о том, чтоб крепок был весь штат.
Пусть города и сёла грянут песню общности,
Пусть весь народ сокото путь прославит благости,
И пусть мы громко славу воздадим Всевышнему!

Wake up to the great cause of our society.
Sokoto the state full of human and natural resources.
The bounties helping up the building of
the state.
The society of strong cultural moral standard.
For Islamic development inherited from ancestors.
Religion plays the role of our leadership.
Being the citizens of Usman Danfodiyo Caliphate.
And the reformer of Islam in western Sudan.
For moral,educational and economic well being.
We the people of sokoto are in good sense.
Our identity is based on morality in good culture.
That we are peace loving and pious in character.
That we build the Islamic empire great to this day.
Our health and wealth are for the growth of the nation.
Now people should sing a new song of solidarity.
The praise from all corners of the state to stay.
Let the towns and villages raise the voices of unity.
Let the people of sokoto state sing for prosperity.
And let us speak loudy and give glory to Almighty Allah.
