Discussion
I’m of course referring to the exclamation made towards people when they express distaste at Christmas traditions around the festive period.
"Bah humbug" is an exclamation made BY people who express a distaste for Christmas traditions. Most famously, Ebenezer Scrooge.

I never read A Christmas Carol in English so I didn't know the idiom. Internet tells me that in Italian it translates to "bubbole" which means something like "stupid no-sense". In Italian you could also say "sciocchezze", "panzane" but the meaning is not exactly the same. Bubbole is actually the best one.

Kids these days...
