America s Song

America’s Song

(Dedicated to General Colin Powell)

A vibrant tie-dye graces western space.
Its stars and stripes envision, strive, create.
Its song – the cry of freedom. Freedom’s blaze.

Illusions fading, tired of malaise,
We hunger for new land. Once here, we celebrate -
A vibrant tie-dye gracing western space.

And like the pilgrims of olden days,
Our minds have lead us to a land where souls debate.
Its song – the cry of freedom. Freedom’s blaze.

A multi-colored, thrilling language maze,
A nation where reason triumphs over hate,
A vibrant tie-dye graces western space!

In many ways divine truths embrace
Americans, here we control our fate.
Our song – the cry of freedom. Freedom’s blaze.

And with a rebel voice, do let me praise,
My home, where prudent Liberty unmoved waits at the gates:
A mighty tie-dye, which adorns our western space,
Its song – the cry of freedom. Freedom’s blaze.
