A Nightmare

A Nightmare

They pushed me to dance with a big headless girl –
A motion that set all my head in a whirl.
All naked she was from her neck to her toes,
With a sweet little voice from – oh where, goodness knows.
As we tangoed and waltzed she asked for a kiss –
“Ah that,” she said softly, “would give me such bliss.”
“That’s hard,” I remarked, as I clutched her white hips,
“I’m not used to kissing a girl with no lips.”
“No problem,” she whispered, “I’ve still got a breast” –
So I hugged and I kissed her upon her fair chest.
What happened thereafter I’d rather not say –
But you don’t need a head for a very good lay.

(Ah, in that last couplet I boastingly spoke –
At the moment of truth – in plain fact – I awoke.)
