From Russian Poetry A. Fet

Татьяна Буевич
I have come to you to greet you,
Come to say the sun has rison,
Its hot beams will touch you tenderly,
Moving foliage in the garden,

And the forest has awakened
Rousing by its green thick branches.
Every bird is singing sweetly,
Everything is thirst for gladness.

I’m full of the same passion
And again have come to tell you
I should like to be you servant,
I am eager to be happy.

I don’t know what I’ll be singing
But the song is bursting out,
Joy is flying everywhere
Blowing to me with its gaiety.
