My love

My love reminds me of my future,
My future wishes for my love…

The cryptic message sent through time
Deciding when I finally die…

Tomorrow cancels present laws
Where does it start? Nobody knows.
Forget your lying old Tarot
Creating life – eternal knot.
Hysteric laughter fooled by pain…
I dreaded love, but all in vain
The moon will always wax and wane
Until the day I fade away…

I greet each one with salty cheeks
In an attempt to not dismiss
My dreams come true like autumn leaves
(The probability of this!)

Into the skies I look again
Each time as if I’ve never seen
The constellations, all the same
But realizing only then
How human I am, no matter what
I try convincing them I’m not.
I try denying, but how wild!
I’m just the same as most: a liar…
We cannot be at heart unbiased
Forever caught up in own wires
Opinion is the worst and highest
Of all the sins we’ve been enticed…

But back to where my mind is leading
(Distorted, strange and self-deceiving)
Beliefs that life is meant for living
Or leaving... Life without being…
Forgiving, learning, healing, willing,
Is this a lesson I’m receiving?
Or just a way to pass the evening…
The Book says “God”; I say “the ceiling”
Since I’m incapable of seeing
Beyond the fact that it’s within me,
The love that changes faces freely
And doesn’t care who is willing.

The time now comes, and sunshine enters
My private space (or its resemblance).
Too bad, we’re all each other’s mentors
Because we don’t know any better.

My love has cared for many humans
But shortly after angry rumors
Have stripped my soul from light and pureness
And filled my heart with darkest humors…

My love stands on the heads of strangers
Who stare as if they were endangered
With air of prejudice and vengeance,
Those I have known, but couldn’t change them.

They wish to share with me their wisdom,
But recognize no dualism, they
Give me keys from their kingdoms
Without asking me to dinners.
I’m used to this, I used too often
Misuse the summer nights… Uncertain
Of what comes next. But I’ve forgotten;
That end would always come in autumn…
No matter where, no matter what is
Expected, said; they all shall rotten
And spill like sand, or maybe water
Through fingers… Things I never thought of…

And now, though but a year older
From when I wrote of life’s last border
Feeling the end was ‘round the corner
Convinced of only one disorder…
I open up to new ideas –
Some things might not be cut and clear,
And realize how much my lyrics
Were after all just plain and weird,
How I am young and still know nothing,
And how some friends are slowly passing
Me by on streets I once have known them…
Who’s laughing last when no one’s laughing?

My love… Oh yes, that tremens’ creature
That gave and stole, a perfect teacher!
I asked for soul mate, not a preacher.
But love is what kills youth by inches
Reminding constantly of hollow
Sensation of the deepest sorrow
That drives me mad and makes me follow
Her winding roads of no tomorrow.
She marries foes and tortures dreamers,
She changes truth into opinions,
And when we finally stop believing,
She comes to give our life a meaning.

My love, not used to wearing feathers,
Brings me unordinary presents:
Today she promises FOREVER
Tomorrow leaves me stormy weather…
But I cannot denounce those phases
Since I’m addicted to her presence
Intrigues that make life most amazing
Adventure – walking on a razor…

So I continue searching, needing
To know whether the one that’s reading
These weary lines of my heart’s bleeding
Could make me once again believe in…

Forget your past, I’ve changed my mind
What once is lost you cannot find
Tomorrow passed – today is blind
And yesterday is left behind.
