Some build in grass
where meadows lie
between the river and the sky;
some build in wood
where forests spread
soft leaves beneath and overhead;
some build in stone,
for they believe
that masonry serves memory;
while others build in images
of stars and moon and cosmodrome,
glimpse portents of a world to come,
and call the galaxy their home…
