St. Valentine s

Àñðàè Äåîíèñêèé
Along the street the Moon is walking,
his pace is calm and tranquil.
The Sun has shred my heart to pieces
and hardly have I had a will
to take the path where the moon is walking
with his pace so calm and tranquil.
I let you approach too close to my heart,
but now deep waters run still.
And I’ll take a walk into the sky,
and I’ll pay out my life time bill.
And I’ll touch the merciless Sun;
and when his cruel work is done,
I’ll watch Night’s ashes glow away
In the Sun’s first vigorous ray,
then I come up to you and say:
“Wish you happy St. Valentine’s Day!”
