Three flowers

Jena Woodhouse
One flower opens as a flame
in petals of sheer radiance,
a lotus of eternal mind,
a symbol of Love's innocence.

The second flower blooms as ice,
a crystal hidden deep in earth -
a secret star, a harbinger
of vernal promise and rebirth.

The third flower awaits their tryst
and flares when flame encounters ice,
suffusing water, earth and air
with Life, which blossoms everywhere.
