The Year of the Fiery Pig is coming! Hru-hru…
And these greetings are especially for all of you,
Written in the form of a remarkable short poem,
But incomparable to the works of W. S. Maugham.
Funny small hoofs and likable twisted short tail,
Big tender hairless ears of both female and male,
On the muzzle you see charming little rosy snout –
The symbol of the incoming year this is all about.
In my opinion, pig is quite sympathetic and meek,
Very accurate, rather tidy and not at all weak.
Not for nothing about human many scientists say,
That his cells are similar to pig’s in some way.
So, try not to offend each other and talk very big,
And also yell: “Get out, you, unceremonious pig!”
Let’s instead show some hospitality and care,
And start making a lot of friends here and there!
May in the coming year your fortune doubles,
And there will be only joy, without troubles!
May the relations among the nations be nice!
