This poem was composed for a Halloween perfomance which took place in our University. Speaking briefly, here a vampire and a vimpireness adress their speech to the mortals. First remark belongs to a vampire, then it goes by turns and the last quatrain they tell together.
Are we alive? - It looks like not,
But do we breathe? Oh, no, we don't -
The day has come, we'll break the seal,
We'll make you feel oppressive chill !
I'm the one who reigns at night,
I'm the one who'll drain your blood,
A son of dim sinIster light,
A daughter of eternal night,
Cold from inside - Moon's by my side,
Snow-sparkling skin - A fatal sin,
No heart to beat - No creed I need,
A single bite - To feel my might,
Your life's a ring, it's made of vice,
Beyond the veil salvation lies,
And hollow days are sad, so sad!
Much better to become undead!
From dawn to dusk we wear a mask,
When darkness comes, Death starts its dance,
No sense to cry - obey or die,
Your souls somehow are ours now!
