Since Pentecostal joy,
When the Spirit descended on the Apostles,
Communion with the Holy Spirit goes on.
Our group of women, men and youngsters
Have come to witness, share and learn.
Standing in front of the icons,
We sing “Our Father” and other prayers.
Then we read a passage from the Bible
Out loud, in turns, each one of us the same.
Eternity is Present, Unimagined.
Baffled with its depth and beauty,
Our hearts are open to the Word.
Our lives become crystal clear.
We speak, hear, and go deeper,
Through words we vainly passed before.
