My wonderful dream

Âàëåíòèíà Ôîìèíà
       By V. Fomina

       When I am gazing at the Milky Way,
       See constellations that are very bright;
       I am so full of energy and might
       As if of water while the tide a bay.

       The brightness of the sky is charming me;
       My eye has been enthralled by such a sight.
       The fight exists between the dark and light;
       The stars are demonstrating it in glee.

       It seems to me that I am flying through
       The galaxies that form the Universe.
       They are alive, one wishes to converse
       About my dreams that never would come true.

       Thus, I am watching all: the life, the death
       Of planets, stars and nebulae at once.
       I have seen them together at a glance
       And stopped to have details with bated breath.

       The farther I am moving in the space
       The deeper I admire splendid suns.
       They are tremendous, billions of hot tons,
       I am impressed with their perfect grace.

       My strong desire is to reach the edge
       To understand what one could view beyond.
       I have to be intrepid like James Bond,
       None would my path with difficulties hedge...

       The night has passed and now I realize
       I am returning from the land of dreams.
       The Sun is giving me its tender beams;
       I am delighted with its warming rise.
