One never can escape themselves
However hard they try.
We seed a peach and grow a peach
To learn that it's a pine.
One mocks the world and fools around
Until the edge of life
To see a glow of stars. The ones
They used to leave behind.
I wish i had the strength to live
A Single Human Life
Without minute lives of sin,
Of ignorance and lies.
Alas I can but pray for strength
And serve the Lord the way I can.
