My little girl now has an adult look,
And understands some things without the words
She likes to read some wise and merry books
When she falls down, she doesn't say “It hurts”.
My girl is curious, so kind and understanding,
She needs to know about all the world
She asked me once, and I still can't forget it -
If ever there was time without war.
Oh yes, it was. It will be so again!
How wonderful will be then our world!
