Just look into these innocent and pure eyes,
These tiny hands will stretch toward you,
His soul`s devoid of treachery and lies,
This little child can never hurt you.
You look aside and feel confusion,
You search excuses for yourself,
You ain`t ready for intrusion
And push him off like book from shelf.
You hesitate to make decision,
You take for granted what you`ve done
But being mom or dad is your true mission,
Give up your fears – come, hug your sun.
He`s just too little to condemn you,
He just can’t live without help,
He`ll never cause you pain and never blame you,
If you are up to take this major step.
So don`t leave this little treasure,
He`s real pearl of your young heart,
He`ll give you precious love without measure,
Just be with him, it`s not so hard.
And neither poverty nor loneliness can justify you,
You won`t feel happy leaving him,
You fall in stupor when your destiny defies you
And chase illusive silly dreams.
There`s nothing more important than your baby,
It`s so cute to see him cuddling up to you,
His newborn face is real candy,
It`s easy to distinguish false from simple true.
Please don`t deprive your sun to be so needed,
Don`t tear to pieces happiness to give your warm,
Remember – life will handle you the way you did it
And there can be no one to save you in a raging storm.

P.S.
(I wrote this poem because there are too many occasions when moms and dads leave their babies. Sure there may be lots of reasons for them to justify themselves but these reasons seem to be so false, it`s a simple unwillingness to take care of their little kids… But I`m not gonna write the report or some kinda scientific work about it, I don`t wanna condemn or teach anybody. I just call all moms and dads of all nations and ages to take care of their little treasures, to feel the happiness of parenthood, to stand all life obstacles because there is a stimulus with a pure soul who needs care, love and warm. Being a parent is a real happiness, a gift from God)
