Talking on the steps

Ирина Турчина
Heart full of question, men full of cotton;
It's no wonder that you have forgotten
How good it feels to be spoiled rotten.

Boys are created from snippets and snails,
We mustn't forget the puppy-dog's tails.
(Boys like to pretend that they're made from nails).

Girls are created from sugar and spice,
And wondrous things that always smell nice.
(Is there a way I could drink some with ice?)

Though boys and girls are different creatures,
Each has, we know, some very odd features.
(God only knows, we've both had good teachers!)

We both have been screwed  by the opposite sexes,
I'll buy you a drink, and we'll bitch about ex's.
