Когда любовь, выхватывая шпагу,
Грозит пронзить мне разум, душу, плоть
Я, призывая всю свою отвагу -
Стихом ее пытаюсь побороть.
Но нет в напоре страсти мне пощады
Я – на коленях пред святым клинком.
Уже нет сил и той, былой бравады.
Лишь слезы льются тихие тайком.

Duellum *
When LOVE, drawing her sparkling sword,
Threatens to pierce my mind, soul, flesh
I'm calling all my latest courage,
I’m trying to overcame her by my poems
But not in its flow pressure me mercy
I am on the knees before her blade.
There is no force and one former bravado.
Only the tears are pouring quiet.
