When I was young and innocent , I thought
That all that comes my way is blessing
I trusted Lord to be my guide
Without too much thinking, stressing
But now when I am an adult in this life
I feel that I can be the leader
Who chooses to give up or strife
“To taste the sweet or eat the bitter.”
Yet, There is faith in me
That helps in times of inner fighting
The light that deep within gives warmth
To tell the truth, I need this lighting!
And if my life is full of pain,
Or sufferings that come together
I see the light that shows me that
The fight is not forever!
It is a comfort for my soul
It is a moral conscience pleasure
To have this faith, to value it
Because it is the greatest treasure!
