Ella Fitzgerald - a phenomenal performer, the “Queen of Jazz.”
Her life had not been easy, yet she managed to succeed, arise.
Fulfilling own potential, talents, Ella had achieved her stardom.
Landed successfully picking her 13 Grammy’s from career garden.
Ella was known for her diction, sense of rhythm and pure voice.
As she was growing up, she needed to survive and made a choice
That she would sing, excel her vocal skills until she prospered.
Her Grammy’s might have felt just like for actors would be Oscar’s.
Ella was fearless on stage feeling at ease, enjoyed performing, singing.
Her style, delivery concurrently was simple, innovative and intriguing.
She carried deeply in her soul her childhood suffering, traumas and losses.
Fitzgerald managed to defeat her pain, kept singing and became a virtuoso.
Fitzgerald’s vocal range was wide, two-three octaves – it was breath taking.
She was a little shy when speaking, yet in singing – powerful, awakening.
Her gift of scat singing and improvisation impressed all people around.
Ella just knew how to use the language, voice tone to make it flow, well sound.
Her genres varied from the swing to vocal jazz to ballads to traditional pop music.
Ella had effortlessly sung with intonation that was comforting and soothing.

Ella exuded light encouraging all people to fulfill their predetermined quest.
On Ella’s birthday we are remembering her with heart’s warmth and smile.
Since she has gone and shifted to the other side, it’s been some time, a while.
Her versatility, love, kindness, contribution to the world – immortal, priceless.
